The MACD (Moving Average Convergence Divergence) is a technical analysis indicator used to identify changes in the momentum and trend direction of an asset. It was developed by Gerald Appel in the 1970s and is one of the most popular tools for analyzing financial markets.

Parameters

In the Parameters section you can set:

  • Fast
  • Input: The reference on which the data (maximum, minimum, opening and closing) are calculated. 
  • Slow:
  • Smooth

Series

In the Series section you can set the colors and style of:

  • MACD Histogram: the histogram.
  • MACD Signal: the signal.
  • MACD Line: the line.
