ROC (Rate of change)

Modified on Wed, 29 Jan at 2:15 PM

The ROC (Rate of Change) indicator is a technical analysis indicator that measures the percentage of change in the price of an asset over a given period of time.

It is used to determine how fast the price is changing, so it gives indications of the strength or weakness of an ongoing trend.

This is a momentum indicator that can signal possible price reversals, overbought or oversold conditions, and confirm the direction of a trend.
