Setting Usage:

To open the DOM we need to click on the DOM button (top right), and it will show us the trading book for the instrument we selected.

Main Features:

By default the Vertical Book will open, where you can view:

  • Columns:

From left to right we find:

  1. B: purchase order management column;
  2. Bid: purchase order entry column, showing quantities of buy limit;
  3. Price: price column;
  4. Ask: sales order entry column, showing quantities of sell limit;
  5. S: sales order management column;
  6. P&L: this column shows the Profit & Loss for each individual ticks, if you had a market position;
  • Trading Panel

Clicking on the icon $ will open our trading panel. In the Qty section it will be possible to see the amount of open contracts. With the button Cancel - Flat All you will instead go to close the outstanding position and revoke all pending orders, both limit and conditional.

In the upper left-hand corner we select the account with which we want to open the trade, and in the upper right-hand corner we select the desired number of contracts.

  • Trading Buttons

With the BUY you enter an order buy market, with the SELL button you enter an order sell market

Order Entry and Management Mode:

The platform recognizes the type of order you are going to place depending on where you position yourself with the mouse within the trading book.

  • Buy Market:

Click with the right button of the mouse on any point in the column Bid;

  • Sell Market

Click with the right del mouse on any point in the column Ask;

  • Buy Limit

Click with the left of the mouse in the Bid on any price level below the market price;

  • Buy Stop

Click with the left of the mouse column Bid on any price level above the market price;

  • Sell Limit:

 Click with the left of the mouse column Ask on any price level above the market price;

  • Sell Stop

Click with the left of the mouse in the Ask on any price level below the market price.

Once orders of type limit or conditional you can edit them through the order management, specifically with the left key of the mouse you can move the order, while with the right key you can delete it.

DOM settings

Clicking on the little wheel in the upper right corner will give access to the settings.

In this section you will be able to customize the size of the text as well as the color of the background and each individual column.

Scroll Vertical Axis

Clicking with the right button of the mouse on the price column allows you to choose how you want to move the vertical axis of the book.

  • Auto Recognition Mode

Positioning the cursor in the price column, if you press the left button of the mouse around the market price you can scroll the book vertically, while if you position yourself at the extremes of that column, at the top or bottom, always pressing the left button can compress or enlarge the size of the axis itself.
