Usage settings

To open a new chart click on the top left pane and select a tool


Price Settings

Click on the two candles icon in the upper left corner to access the price settings.


It is possible to select the chart type. You can choose from:

  • Candlestick
  •  Line
  • OHCL Bars
  • Heikin Ashi


  • Parameters


  • Auction filter

If enabled excludes data arising at the opening and closing auctions. Useful option in stock markets to prevent volumes traded in those phases from offsetting volumes traded in continuous trading.

  • Border based on open close

Allows the border of candles to be changed based on opening and closing candles.

  • Delta-Volume Bars/Color based delta.

If enabled, the color of candles will vary depending on the delta of each candle.

  • Volume Bars/Width based on volume.

If enabled the size of the candles will vary according to the volume traded in each one.

  • Series

-Click in the Series item to change the color of the border and fill of the candles.

-Change the chart style, choosing from Line, Candlestick, OHLC, Hidden charts.

-Change the thickness of the border.

Indicators

  • Insert a new indicator

To insert a new indicator click on the Indicators icon in the upper left corner.

A drop-down menu will open where the indicators already added to the chart will be shown, with the option to delete, obscure or edit them.

Clicking on the Add Indicators button at the bottom will take you to the list of indicators. At this point to add an indicator to the chart simply click on it.


  • Indicator Toolbar

To facilitate the usability of the platform for new and less experienced users, each chart has a Toolbar in the lower left corner, in which a number of volumetric indicators are already preset and can be enabled very easily:


1. OF. VP: Order Flow a Volume Profile;

2. OF.B/A: Order Flow split Bid/Ask;

3. D.VP: Daily Volume Profile;

4. D.DP: Daily Delta Profile;

5. W.VP: Weekly Volume Profile;

6. W.DP: Weekly Delta Profile;

7. C.VP: Composite Volume Profile.


If you do not need it, you can close the Indicator Toolbar, with the appropriate button to its left.


Navigation on the chart

  • X-axis.

To move the X-axis simply scroll with the mouse wheel , alternatively left-click on the timeline.

  • Y-axis

By right-clicking in the price scale, it is possible to determine how to move the Y-axis, specifically:


  • Automatic detection

If you position yourself in the middle part of the Y-axis, pressing the left mouse button will allow you to move the axis, while if you position yourself at the extremes, up or down, you will be able to resize its size;


  • Move axis range

Pressing with the left mouse button anywhere on the Y-axis will allow you to move it up or down;


  • Resize axis range

Pressing with the left mouse button anywhere on the Y-axis will make it possible to resize its size;


It will also be possible to lock the Y-axis or use a fixed margin (fixed space & fixed margin).


Annotations


On the left side of the graph there is a menu where it will be possible to choose the type of pointer, enter annotations, change the properties of the graph.


Specifically:

  • Pointer

Activates the arrow, which is the default option ;

  • Crosshair

Activates crossair;

  • Hand

Allows you to move the graph vertically and horizontally by clicking on the graph with the left mouse button . Hand can also be momentarily enabled by pressing Ctrl jointly with the left mouse button;

  • Annotations

Ability to insert various drawing tools into the graph, specifically:


1. Horizontal line

Inserts a horizontal line in the graph;

2. Vertical line

Inserts a vertical line into the graph;

3. Horizontal radius

Inserts a horizontal radius into the graph;

4. Line

Inserts a line into the graph;

5. Parallel lines

Inserts parallel lines into the graph;

6. Rectangle

Inserts a rectangle into the graph;

7. Text

Inserts text into the graph;

8. Retracements

Inserts a fibonacci retracement into the chart;

9. Projections

Inserts fibonacci projections into the chart;

10. Price fan

Inserts the price fan into the chart;

11. Counter

Inserts a counter;

12. Eraser

Erases all drawings on the graph;


  • Annotation Settings

To customize a drawing tool click on the desired tool, and there will be properties.

Alternatively, double left click and you will go directly to the annotation settings.

You will be able to change color, line style and thickness, you will also be able to add text, change its alignment, color and font size.



In the retracement and projection tools you will also be able to add/remove fibonacci levels, as seen in the figure.

  • Configurations

Once you have made the desired changes, you will be able to save the configurations so you can quickly recall them once you enter a new drawing tool.

Click on Tool Config to open the configurations window, in which you can add a new configuration.


Later, to recall a configuration simply go to the TC item from which a drop-down menu will open with the various saved configurations.

  • Template

Allows you to save the template of the chart or load a previously saved one;

  • Property

Allows you to change the graph's background, text color and size, and enable Grid.
