Session Imbalance

Modified on Thu, 28 Aug at 3:30 AM

The indicator Session Imbalance allows you to highlight the high, Imbalance High (IBH)and the low, Imbalance Low (IBL)of the first hour of trading. In addition to these it will be possible to plot the Mid Point (IBM) and the extensions of 50% (IB50%) and 100% (IB100%) both high and low.

Watch these levels è particularly important since most trading volumes enter in the first hour of trading in the reference cash market, thus for U.S. equity futures, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. These levels can over the course of the session prove to be important Levels.
