Workspace-(Workspaces):

To better manage workspaces, here is a brief guide:

Workspace: the workspace represents the set of windows such as charts, time and sales, book, scanner, and correlation viewer, arranged on the monitors. This configuration can be saved and, when the platform is started, reopened with one click. Multiple workplans can be opened and managed from the appropriate section, but windows on different workplans cannot be displayed at the same time.

Manage-Workplans:

In the work plan management window you can:

  • View the list of open workplans
  • Save the workplan in the current configuration
  • Save as workplan
  • Close the workplan
  • Important note:

    • The default work plan has the name "Untitled" and will need to be saved with a specific name.
    • To close a work plan, use the appropriate section by clicking on the "X" next to the name. Do not individually close each window and then close the plan, as this will result in saving an empty work plan, deleting all open charts.

Tool Config (Custom Annotations-):

In VolSys you can create different configurations for annotations, you can also decide which default configuration to assign to each annotation.

To manage and customize Annotations here is a short guide:

  • Trace an annotation
  • Select the traced drawing
  • Right-click at at the appeared dot
  • Edit the appearance of the annotation at will and apply the changes
  • Click on "Configurations", you will find the configurations you have already saved
  • Click on "Manage"
    • Now click on "Add Configuration"
    • reorder the saved Configurations, placing the first one as the Default Configuration
