VolBook's Book Speed indicator allows you to visualize through histograms at the foot of the chart how many book levels are eaten every n seconds, allowing you to visualize the book trend and compare it with the price trend to identify possible divergences.

Settings-of-Use

To apply the indicator Book Speed to the chart click on the Indicators icon, and select book speed from the indicators list. 

Clicking on the indicator settings icon will open its configuration window, within which you can make several choices regarding the indicator's functionality. 

General

Mode-parameters

Defines the parameter for calculating the indicator, being able to choose between Seconds and Tick Reversal.

Parameter value

Defines the value of the parameter chosen in the previous step.

Visualisation Settings

Allows you to change the color of the Bid and Ask histogram, as well as the thickness.

Average

Enables an average for the Bid and Ask by defining its length and color.

Marker

Enables a marker, define its color for the Bid and Ask and its value.
