Symbols Subscription Issue

To solve the problem of lack of Real Time or the unavailable data, follow the following video tutorial: Fix Real Time Data or first check:

Connect Active Data Feed

Having correctly connected the data stream (Green rectangle in the Volbook menu bar). 

Also make sure you have purchased the right data stream to analyze the market you are interested incl. Market Depth, Level 2 with Market Depth.


Symbol Subscription

Check that you have added markets correctly to the subscription with the data provider:

  • Disconnect the data feed (Name of connection-remove the check)
  • Close all Workspaces (Workspace)
  • Access Options - "Manage Symbols"
    • Make sure you have added the correct markets and that next to the Name there is associated the correct Name of connection, if not:
      • Select Markets 
      • Right-click and in the drop-down menu and associate the market with the correct connection
      • Click on "Select"to save the change
    • Close the ">window;Symbol Management"
  • Reconnect the Data Feed
  • Open a Chart or Work Plan


Thanks to these messages VolBook is now showing in real time the performance of the markets and you can view all the instruments contained in the Market associated with the connection.
